Chapter 1674 Vision Statement
The Kaiserslautern Military Community’s professional military organization of choice for Air Force enlisted.
Chapter 1674 Goals
Membership: The only way Air Force Sergeants Association, Rheinland-Pfalz Chapter 1674, can prove its success at being the profession military organization of choice in the Kaiserslautern Military Community is by its membership strength. The only way it can become the professional military organization of choice in the Kaiserslautern Military Community is by increasing its membership strength-thus propelling the Air Force Sergeants Association to its vision of being the professional military organization of choice for Air Force enlisted personnel. To this end, the most important goal of Air Force Sergeants Association, Rheinland-Pfalz Chapter 1674, is increasing its membership strength. This goal is achieved through active recruiting, constant attentiveness to membership, an aggressive and effective rejoining program, and a strong Corporate Membership Development Program. The Membership trustee is primarily responsible for these programs, but ultimate success of this program depends on the active involvement of everyone from the Chapter President to the Chapter Member to the Leaders of the Kaiserslautern Military Community. Below are the suggested measurers, which track the progress towards the chapter’s membership goals.

Involvement: A strong chapter is an active chapter. Our primary outlook is, If you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem.” In the past, everyone in the Air Force Sergeants Association has heard from both members and non-members that they never got involved with their past chapters because they weren’t active in the community. Well, plainly put-they weren’t active because these people spent all their time complaining about the inactive chapter and not getting active with the chapter. We attribute chapter strength not in its membership strength, but its strength of its membership-an Air Force Sergeants Association Chapter should be judged by its actions, not its size! A strong chapter is the sign of being the professional military organization of choice in the Kaiserslautern Military Community. Our goals range from attendance at chapter meetings to events. The general membership and executive council membership are tracked separately because we believe a strong council makes for a strong chapter. The amount of activities a chapter is involved in is also an important measurement of a chapter’s activeness. With this in mind, the President is responsible for setting achievable chapter activities for the year with the assistance of the Executive Council. The Vice President is primarily responsible for developing programs specifically targeted at improving membership involvement in the chapter.
Timeliness: No one wants to be part of an organization that can’t get what it needs to done. Thus, if the chapter aspires to become the professional military organization of choice in the Kaiserslautern Military Community, then it needs to be timely in the execution of its required duties. Some of these duties are integral to the operation of the Air Force Sergeants Association (as a whole) and thus have ever-widening circles of influence. Number one of these is timely and accurate quarterly reporting. Some duties are crucial to the chapter’s charter standing, while others are crucial to the chapter’s effectiveness. They are all important to measuring the overall effectiveness of the chapter. Below are the chapter’s timeliness goals.
